Follow up personally with each person who came to your group (text, phone call or personal email) to thank them for coming and to invite them back for Week Two.

Encourage everyone to read their daily devotional and attend the weekend service. If anyone missed the group, be sure to reach out to them to see if they need anything.

Pray that people would begin to open up and share about living a life of surrender. Pray that your Small Group environment would feel safe and comfortable for everyone to go deeper in their surrender to God, and that there would be a desire to start living God’s way.

You have the first week under your belt, and Week Two will be a great chance for everyone to connect more. If you follow up with everyone this week, you should have a good idea of who will be at the group.

Plan a fun ice-breaker question to kick things off and help people get to know each other better. This lesson is about God’s Perspective and surrendering your life to Him. Any time we go on a journey with God, it always begins with surrender.
