I WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN SERVE DAY BUT I AM NOT IN A SMALL GROUP. HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?

Everyone is welcome to join a team for Serve Day! Gather a group of friends and create your own project, or join an existing project. If you'd like to join a Small Group to get connected, you can find a Small Group that best fits your life stage and schedule here.

HOW DO I PLAN A SERVE PROJECT?

Get creative! Assess the needs of people in your neighborhood and community. Check out a list of ideas in our Project Guide. to help you get started. If you have a project you’d like to submit to the Missions Director, click the link below or send an email to missions@gracecreekchurch.com.

WHO PAYS THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH OUR GROUP’S SERVE PROJECT?
(SUPPLIES, TRAVEL EXPENSES, ETC.)

Each team is responsible for the costs associated with their project. We recommend spending time planning your project based on your group’s size and financial investment ability. WHAT SHOULD I BRING ON SERVE DAY?

If you do not have a red Serve Team shirt, you will receive one when you check in on Serve Day. Bring any personal items you may need during your project: Serve Day Shirt, sunscreen, water, sneakers (close-toed), a hat, etc. Your Project Leader can confirm any project-specific items you may need to bring such as gloves, rakes, lawnmowers, tarps, work tools, etc. Work clothes are a good idea for serve opportunities requiring physical labor, and we recommend leaving the jewelry and nice shoes at home!
